The elegant salon overlooking the lake will be ideal for formal receptions, and the wood panelled dining room will provide a marvellous setting for evening meals. The impressive refectory, which can hold up to 350 people, will be available for larger events.
Other facilities will include studios, workshops and conference rooms. When the full restoration programme is completed Blanchelande will offer comfortable accommodation for up to forty six people in 23 comfortable rooms, each with lavish bathrooms incorporating hydromassage and chromotherapy baths and showers.
The twenty acres of parkland sweeping to the lake include many species of rare trees and provide a wonderful setting for open air events, and a nine hole golf course and tennis courts are planned.
The principal facilities will be available in summer 2004, together with a number of bedrooms.
